Inkjet Printer Range
Inkjet printers have been around forever, it seems, and, despite the rise of affordable laser printers, they're still here.
Inkjets are generally used where print volumes are low and/ or the requirement for print quality is high.
Or where the cost of running a laser printer is uneconomical, when considering the lifetime costs of consumables, maintenance and energy.
An inkjet printer will not be able to compete with a laser printer in terms of durability and running costs,
particularly in busy and demanding environments, but their low purchase price makes them very attractive to many home users and smaller businesses.
The other big advantage of inkjet printers is that the print quality and resolution is generally much higher than for laser printers.
As such, an inkjet printer is ideal for printing photos and high end graphics and some of our top-of-the-range machines can produce output that's good enough for art galleries and museums.
With advances being made by brands such as Epson, Canon and of course HP, with their Pagewide technology, the performance gap between inkjets and lasers is closing all the time. As such, it is unlikely that they will be going quietly into the night any time soon. In fact it is more likely that inkjets are due a revival, as they are able to prove to businesses that they are an economical option.
